The original is Tsukasa Oshima’s soccer manga “Shoot!” Series, which was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Magazine” (published by Kodansha) from 1990 to 2003 and has a cumulative circulation of over 50 million copies. Draws the great leap forward of the main character Toshihiko Tanaka, who belongs to the soccer club of the new school Kakegawa High School, and made it into a TV animation as “Aoki Densetsu Shoot!” In 1993, and six “SMAP” members (at that time) in 1994. A live-action movie that serves as the main cast has also been released. In “Shoot! Goal to the Future”, a completely original story unfolds. Atsushi Kamiya, a former Italian prestigious team player who is said to be a “warlord of the world,” and Hideto Tsuji, who attends the weakened Kakegawa High School at his school and tries to keep a distance from the soccer club. When the two meet, a new legend opens.

Kobayashi will play the role of Tsuji, the new main character, and Umehara will play Kamiya, who was the main character in the original series. Toki played the role of Kurokawa Subaru, Ono played the role of Kazamajo, Tsuchiya played the role of Kokubo Kohei, and Toriumi was the founder of the Kakegawa High School soccer club, and was already a legendary player at that time. Although he made a name for himself, he is in charge of the role of Yoshiharu Kubo, who died of illness shortly after joining Tanaka.

The teaser PV starts with the telop of one of the most famous lines in the series, “Do you like soccer?”, And Kubo’s brilliant ball-handling attack on the enemy camp. Then, Kamiya, who inherited Kubo’s intention, and Tsuji in a uniform were projected, and Kurokawa and his colleagues coldly said, “Soccer, whether the shot is decided or not, that’s all.” Will be. At the end, Tsuji, who shines his eyes, decides to shoot.

Directed by Noriyuki Nakamura of the “Card Fight !! Vanguard” series (directed by others), the series composition is Mitsutaka Hirota of “The Prince of Tennis”, and the character design is Yumeiro Akiyama of the “Yumeiro Patissiere” series. Kamiya, who I played, is a character that appears in the original story, so it was easy to make a role in that the backbone and personality were clarified. However, it was difficult in that respect because it was about two times older than the original.

I was able to go to the national tournament when I was in junior high school, and I was able to run less than 6 seconds in the 50m sprint, all thanks to “shoot!”. I’m really happy and proud to be able to participate in such a work as a voice actor.
