Anime! Anime! Then, we conducted a reader survey entitled “What is a character who is good at cooking?” We will announce the results.

January 21st is the day of the cooking show.

On the same day in 1937, it was the anniversary of the broadcast of the world’s first cooking program “Evening Cuisine” by the BBC TV in the United Kingdom.

Many characters who are good at cooking appear in anime and games. There are various ways of drawing, such as training to become a first-class chef, always making lunch with a homemade lunch box, and making mysterious dishes that gain special abilities when eaten.

Anime there! Anime! Then, we conducted a reader survey entitled “What is a character who is good at cooking?” We received responses from 530 people during the survey period from December 30th to January 5th.
The male-female ratio is about 30% for males and 70% for females, mainly females. About 50% of the age group was 19 years old or younger, and about 25% were in their 20s.

■ Cooking pride gathers! Some characters have commercialized food …

The first placeFirst place is Sanji from “One Piece”. The approval rating was about 12 percent.

Sanji is a cook of the Straw Hat Pirates. “Sanji’s home-cooked dishes that serve for his friends all look delicious. I envy Luffy and his friends who are always eating. I was also impressed by the kindness of making pilaf for Gin on the verge of starvation. “I think I’m muffled” and “The policy that cooks only use kicks in battle is cool because their hands are their life”, and the way of life as a professional cook is popular. “I also bought” Sanji’s full stomach rice “that reproduces the main dish!”, The character that even appeared in the recipe book became the top.

2nd placeSecond place is Kazuki Makabe from “Fafner in the Azure”. He had an approval rating of about 8 percent.

Kazuki Makabe is the main character of this work. “It is a character with the background that he has been cooking meals since he was a child instead of his father who is not good at cooking at single-mother families. As he grew up, he became a cook at a coffee shop, and among them, the curry he makes is officially made into goods. The reason why the votes were collected was that the curry was so good at cooking that it was actually commercialized, saying, “Masu” and “The retort’s single-mother curry sold as goods was delicious!”

3rd placeThird place is Soma Yukihira from “Shokugeki no Soma”. He had an approval rating of about 7 percent.

Soma Yukihira is a high school student who attends a prestigious culinary school, Togetsu Gakuen. “Every character is good at cooking in’Shokugeki no Soma’, but it’s exceptional. It’s amazing to be able to cook the most delicious food with limited food!” I love Soma Yukihira, who cooks food and surprises the people around me. “
The protagonist of a cooking-themed work is in the top three.
