The original of the TV anime “Jujutsu Kaisen” is a comic of the same name by Gege Akutami, which is serialized in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shonen Jump”. The serialization started in March 2018, depicting the curse born from the negative emotions of human beings and the battle with the witch doctor who exterminates it with magic, and the total circulation of the series is 6,000 in 18 volumes released on December 25, 2021. It has exceeded 10,000 copies. In the first movie version of “Jujutsu Kaisen 0” released on December 24, 2021, the day before “Jujutsu Kaisen”, “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Metropolitan College of Magic” (commonly known as “Jujutsu Kaisen 0”) “Volume 0”) is drawn.
