The TV broadcast of the first episode, which is the beginning of “Space Battleship Yamato 2205 New Departure Previous Chapter -TAKE OFF-“, which was screened in theaters in October, has been decided. It will be aired on TOKYO MX at 10:30 pm on December 26th and on BS11 from midnight on December 28th.
“Space Battleship Yamato 2205 New Departure” is the latest work of the reboot version “Space Battleship Yamato” series, following “Space Battleship Yamato 2199” and “Space Battleship Yamato 2202 Love Warriors”. With the motif of the TV special “Space Battleship Yamato: A New Departure” broadcast in 1979, Susumu Kodai (CV: Daisuke Ono) was appointed as the new captain in 2205, three years after the battle with the White Comet Empire. Space Battleship Yamato confronts the mysterious enemy Desaliam, who leads a large fleet of darkness, in a completely new work in all two chapters. From February 4th, theatrical screening and distribution of “Post-Chapter -STASHA-” will begin.
In addition, on January 19th, a stage greeting will be held at Shinjuku Piccadilly, Tokyo to announce the completion of “Post-Chapter -STASH A-“. In addition to Ono, Tasuku Hatanaka as Ryusuke Domon, Chitose Morinaga as Caroline Raiden, Kenji Yasuda, Harutoshi Fukui as the series composition and screenwriter will be on stage, and Eriko Nakamura as Mikage Kiryu will be the moderator.
