BS12 “Sunday Anime Theater” on December 19 is “Tokyo Godfathers” The story of the holy night presented by director Satoshi Kon

The theater animation “Tokyo Godfathers” will be broadcast on December 19th at “Sunday Anime Theater” which is being broadcast on BS12 Twelve every Sunday from 7:00 pm.
This work was released in 2003 by director Satoshi Kon. Three homeless people of different ages and genders run around Tokyo for Christmas in search of their abandoned baby’s parents and face their lives as they are guided by the baby. Toru Emori, Yoshiaki Umegaki, and Aya Okamoto are the main casts, and Keiko Nobumoto, who died on December 1, is now in charge of the script in collaboration with the director.

Synopsis
Three homeless people who became the godfathers of babies picked up from a pile of garbage on Christmas night. A “miracle” pours into them as they search for their baby’s mother and get involved in rare events one after another.
